Healthy Eating at Magic Mountain Country Home
What
can be better than all-natural and fresh ingredients in each and every
meal we serve at Magic Mountain Country Home?
At our country home, we encourage our guests to increase their
awareness of the role of nutrition in the pursuit of optimum health.
Changing the way we think about eating and food is the key to success.
We do not advocate deprivation or severe restriction, as we know it is
not conducive to long term success or a healthy short term solution.
All meals are guaranteed to be satisfying and energizing.
As proud members of www.slowfood.com we support small scale local farmers and food producers
We
bake our own country breads and pastries; we stuff fresh sausages the
old-fashioned way (without harmful additives), and we also produce our
own bacon and pancetta. We get fresh cow and goat milk from a nearby
dairy farm for home-made cheese and yogurt.
Our
own organic vegetable-, herb-, and flower gardens provide us and our
guests with nature’s bounty.
Breakfast
We are
passionate about breakfast, and the Magic Mountain breakfast experience
is particularly close to our hearts. Time to chat, plan the day in a
relaxed manner, and allow yourself to be tempted by a selection of get-me-up-idy, crunchy, fruity, meaty, cheesy, buttery, tangy, sugary, airy, spicy, fluffy, spongy, hearty, tasty, princely, juicy, yummy, creamy, nutty, heavenly, chewy, garlicky, healthy home-made creations and local specialties. |
